NAU Robotics has been growing in the industrial robot sector to be selected as a vision company in Incheon.

An official of NAU Robotics said on Nov. 26 last year, “Our company was selected as a vision enterprise a year after being listed as a promising SME in Incheon the previous year.” NAU Robotics was designated as a promising SME by Incheon in November of 2020, and then, it developed to be a vision company after a year by maintaining a fast growth curve.

Incheon, in 2021, selected excellent enterprises which played a leading role for regional economic development even under difficult conditions. The vision company system is about selecting enterprises with technology and growth potential and providing various benefits, in order to identify sustainable future industries and strengthen global competitive power.

The key point is to cultivate such companies to become leading players for vitalization of the regional economy.

Vision companies will be given various benefits, such as a fund for nurturing SMEs, a three-year grace period from local tax audits, priority support of policy projects and granting of additional points, by the city of Incheon.

CEO Lee Jong-ju of NAU Robotics said, “Our company has recently been reborn as a vision enterprise after being selected as a First Penguin by Korea Credit Guarantee Fund.” “From now on, the company will grow faster after launching a variety of robot series of its own brand, and will be reborn as a robot maker representing Incheon to grow into a firm which contributes to activating the regional economy,” added Lee.
