NAU Technics, a company specializing in robot automation, has recently established a branch in Daegu and started the robot automation business in diverse fields. The company which is developing an ice cream robot platform has announced that it would expand the application areas of robots to the dessert market after coffee, according to the company. NAU Technics, a company specializing in robot automation, has recently established a branch in Daegu (#401, Robot Institute for Robot Industry Advancement, Nowon-ro 77, Buk-gu, Daegu) and has accelerated its efforts to apply robots to various fields, beyond factory automation.
The company which was founded under the name of NAU Tech at the end of 2015 built its reputation in the industry as a robot automation firm in the plastic injection molding field during its earlier days. Afterwards, it was designated as an official system partner in March, 2017 when Hanwha Group launched the collaborative robot business on a large scale, and expanded its area to the field of collaborative robot automation. Later, the company held discussions with COMAU, a global robot maker in Italy, for over a year to satisfy the needs of the market regarding regular multi-joint robots, not collaborative robots and became the nation’s first official partner of COMAU.
